When several teeth are missing, the plan needs to consider how your teeth work together. Dental implants may support separate crowns or a bridge, depending on the position of the spaces and the condition of your mouth.
The number of missing teeth does not automatically determine the number of implants. Dr Waqar considers the proposed restoration, bite, available bone and your ability to care for the finished result. Where appropriate, treatment is coordinated with your restoring or referring dentist.
What to consider
Implant treatment requires surgery and time for healing. Your gums, general health and cleaning routine are part of the assessment. A bridge or denture may also be suitable; the benefits, limitations and costs of each option should be clear before treatment begins.

01Does every missing tooth need an implant?
Not necessarily. Implants can support a bridge replacing more than one tooth. The design and number of implants are determined through assessment and planning.
02Will the teeth look and feel the same?
The restoration is planned around your mouth and bite, but individual results vary. Your clinician will explain the realistic aesthetic and functional aims of your plan.
03What happens after treatment?
Your implants and restoration need regular cleaning and professional reviews. Bridges and other components can need maintenance or replacement over time.
